Game Music - Final Fantasy
I'd have to argue that some of the best game music came from the Final Fantasy Series.
Nobuo Uematsu -- you're a genius.
I'd like to learn the waltz again. I took classes during college but since then I haven't had a chance to really pursue this hobby.
Once you get older you can't keep going to hip hop clubs, you know?
I'm a big fan of "Waltz for the Moon" from Final Fantasy VIII.
I think I'm just a sap for long long RPGs with a romantic center. Most of my favorite games all have this in their storyline. Let's see. My favorite games to date are (not in any particular order)
Zelda
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy Series (all except for X-2, and I only liked the secret ending of X-2 because Tidas comes back).
I have to say I really loved Final Fantasy 7,8,10. LOVED. Meaning I downloaded all the cinematic cut scenes and edited them to make little music videos. hahahah.
Saga Frontier (not as romantic.. but still <3)

I think that's a good enough list because if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series each game takes about 100 hours for me. I've spent 110 hours on Final Fantasy 12 and I STILL haven't finished it. Sigh. It won't play on my ps3 now because either 1) the disk is bad 2) US game + Japanese region machine just stopped working after an update. Weaksauce.
But I still have 110 hours on that and probably another 5 hours to go till I finish it. I'm SO SO close.
I don't know why I'm always attracted to tragic heroes. I think it's because I like to see them beat adversity and overcome near impossible obstacles. Perhaps I relate to those situations. :(
Anyways, I really love the Waltz. And I really love "Waltz to the Moon" from Final Fantasy VIII. y(^_^)y
